Size and appearance apply to every display in this gallery, for
consistency. Drag an item in the preview to position it. Item text
can include {LabelName} to pull from a photo's labels
— e.g. Photographer: {Photographer}.
widthIn/heightIn are the placard's own physical size
in inches — the exact same numbers shown in the "Placard width"/"Placard
height" fields below (converted to/from cm there if that's the active unit);
boardWidthIn/unit are the physical-size reference and
display unit the visual editor uses. Each item in items:
text (supports
{LabelName}), xIn/yIn — a fixed distance
in inches from the placard's own top-left corner (not a percentage, so it
doesn't move if you resize the placard), fontFamily,
fontSize (px), fontWeight, fontStyle,
color, and hideIfMissing (skip the item entirely if
a referenced label is missing from the photo).
"Board width" is the physical width the whole display represents (e.g. an actual 48in wide wall board) — it's just a reference so placard width/height can be set in real-world units; the display itself still renders responsively at any screen size.
Preview — drag items to position them
An item's position is a fixed distance from this box's top-left corner — resizing the placard above won't move items, but an item can end up outside the box (and become invisible) if you shrink the placard past it. Drag it back in, or enlarge the placard again.
